Welcome To The Family! | TOP

Before you can start your journey in the New World, you will need to first create your family. Your family name will be your identity throughout your Granado Espada life. After creating your family, you will need to build and empower your family with stock characters and recruitable NPCs. All members of your family will have their own individual first name, but they will all share a common family name.
In Granado Espada, you will be able control up to 3 characters at a time. While it’s possible to play Granado Espada with just 1 character, it is not advisable as you will have a hard time tackling the monsters alone. Aid him/her with your other family members! Do not worry about being unable to handle 3 characters at the time. With GE’s special extreme artificial intelligence (XAI) support, it is a breeze to play with 3 characters. A mere click on your keyboard’s ‘spacebar’ will activate your team of family members to automatically detect nearby enemies and attack them!
Now let’s go down to 5 basic characters that you can create at your family barracks. Fighter, Musketeer, Wizard, Elementalist and Scout. Each of them has their own strength and weakness and it up to you to mix-and-match them in order to create a team that best suits your personality.
Meet The Characters! | TOP
Fighters

Fighters are the tankers of Granado Espada. Armed with a large arsenal of weapons like 1-handed swords with shields, 2-handed swords, Daggers, Pikes, Rapiers and even Pistols, they can dish out decent damage on a single damage.

Fighters also come with Provoke, which you can use to draw monsters towards them. This makes them very valuable; especially when you do not want your weaker characters to get mobbed by monsters. Granado Espada’s dungeons are filled with swarms of monsters, and Fighters will come in handy for it.
Musketeers

Musketeers are the coolest characters around. Armed with Rifles, Pistols and Dual Pistols, they do very heavy 1 on 1 range damage. They start out with Rifles, a slow but very deadly weapon. They usually kill monsters with 1 hit, or severely damage them. Pistols, on the other hand are much weaker in damage, but its speed makes up for it.

Musketeers also have Concentration, a very useful skill that increases their critical rate and attack rating. What is good about this is that, when it is combined with Scout’s ‘Intensify’ buff, the musketeer becomes a very deadly opponent.
Wizards

Wizards have the best of both ends of the magic spectrum. They have both offensive and defensive magic. Players can choose to concentrate on either one, or train both types concurrently. They manipulate psychic force to inflict damage on their opponents.
At higher levels, Wizards can learn the Levitation stance, which will allow them to float in the air to attack enemies. They are also immune to ground attacks while levitating.

Wizards have Reflection, a spell that can be cast on an individual to reflect damage back to attackers.
Elementalists

Elementalists are your usual damage-dealers. They are purely offensive spellcasters that draw powers from various elemental bracelets; Fire, Ice and Lightning. At higher levels, they can equip two of the same elemental bracelets at once, for more powerful, destructive spells.
Keep in mind that Elementalists are also very fragile characters, making them glass artilleries that you should fiercely protect.

Elementalists come with Activate Mana, a very useful skill that allows Elementalists to increase their skill regeneration. This helps them a lot; consider how they have to constantly spam spells to clear out the waves of monsters.
Scouts

Scouts are unique in the world of Granado Espada. They are akin to rouges that take on the conventional role of a priest. While they can use daggers to attack, they are much preferred as healers who can resurrect, heal and buff their teammates.
Scouts are extremely quick and have high dodge rates. They also have the ability to set damaging traps.
Take note that when Scouts are notequipped with a weapon, they will be able to automatically heal their weakened team members. This makes them very valuable characters in every family, as you can leave the healing to the artificial intelligence (AI) while you concentrate on clearing the never-ending waves of monsters.
Recruitable Non-playable Character (RNPC)… join my family!
In your journey though the world of Granado Espada, you will encounter non player characters (NPCs) who will be willing to join your family as recruitable NPCs after you have fulfilled their quests. There are more than 30 over RNPCs up for grabs, and more are being introduced in every version improvement.
RNPCs have their own unique combination of skills and stances. Some of them have the best of both worlds " being able to learn both magic and melee stances. A few of them may be even more powerful than your stock characters under certain circumstances!
So how do I choose my team of 3? | TOP
With just five starting characters, there are a wide variety of combinations to choose to form your initial team of 3 members. It can be quite a daunting to a new player. Fret not, here are some of the more popular combinations. Remember, as a new player, you SHOULD always include a Scout lest your journey through Granado Espada be an arduous one.
Fighter + Elementalist + Scout
This is the most typical combo, a tanker, damage-dealer and healer. It is the most useful combination that can operate efficiently alone. Use your Fighter to be that frontline of defense, keeping those monsters away from your fragile Elementalist and blast down waves of monsters using your Elementalist and heal your characters up with your Scout.
Muskeeter + Muskeeter + Scout
A very interesting combination that does huge damage to monsters. However, they cannot handle large waves of monsters, especially Rifle Muskeeters. Team up with another player who has Elementalists in his team for lethal damage.
Elementalist + Wizard + Scout
A very fragile but devastating magical combination. While this combination has no problem clearing up swarms of monsters, make sure you have sufficient sp (more commonly known as mana) to keep them injuring your characters or they will definitely die.

Talk To Me, Baby!
Chatting is the most basic fundamental to the game, but it is your key to surviving Granado Espada! Making friends with other families will greatly aid in your quest and journey through the New World; and not to mention it will greatly enhance the game for you!
1) Chatting In Public
To chat to public, press ENTER and type your message.
2) Whispering To A Player
To speak privately to another player, type “[Family Name] followed by your message. For example, if I wish to whisper to Andre, I would type the following on my chat box:
“Andre Hey how are you!
3) Chatting With Squad Members
To chat with squad members, use the # key in front of your message. For example:
#Hey guys, I found the mini boss. Need some help here!
Hey there… wanna Squad me?

As you start your exploration in Granado Espada, you should form squads with other families. Forming squads will greatly help in dungeons and you will be able to tackle higher level monsters that are above your characters level.
To create a squad,
1) Click the Menu button on the top left hand side of the screen.
2) Select Squad -> Create Squad
The Squad looting menu will pop up and you can choose to set whether you want items to be randomly distributed among squad members, alternately or whoever picks first. gets it.
After creating a squad, you can begin adding players to it. You can either:
1) Select Squad Invitation from the Squad menu and type the player’s name that you want to invite, or
2) Right click on one of his characters and choose the ‘Squad Invitation’ command.
Once he accepts it, the two of you will be in a party!
Which skills should I add first for my stance?

In Granado Espada, each stance has a max level of 25. Each stance contains various skills that can be leveled up to a master level of 10. You will be able to pump all skills to its master level in Stances that have 3 or 4 skills. For stances with 5 skills, you will be left with a skill that cannot be maxed out. A general guide for adding skills for characters is to store and save skill points until you unlock that particular stance’s Area Of Effect (AoE) skill.
Once you are done with maxing the AoE skill (ie Musketeer’s Covering Fire or Fighter’s Earth Tremor), save up points for the last final skill (Musketeer’s Precision Shot or Fighter’s Vortex Slash).

The AoE skill will help you tremendously in dungeons or maps with hostile and intense spawn rates.
The final last skill will help you a lot against mini bosses and rNPC duels, because it is the most damaging single target skill.
Shortcut keys
The Spacebar (or Ctrl-E) and Ctrl-Spacebar (or Ctrl-Shift-Left Click on the floor). Spacebar is your best friend in Granado Espada. This useful button sets your characters to auto attack mode and it also makes your Scout auto-heal (provided you do not equip your Scout with weapons).
F1,F2,F3 is to select your 1st, 2nd, 3rd character respectively. F4 will summon your 2 other characters to your selected character. F9 allows you to set whether you want to control your characters in a Group or Individually.
F5,F6,F7,F8 is for you to switch stances. For example if your Elementalist have the Possession and Evocation stances, pressing F5 will switch to his/her Possession stance and F6 to the Evocation stance.
Q,W,E,R,T,Y,U are shortcuts to your 1st character’s skills. A,S,D,F,G,H,Jfor the 2nd character and Z,X,C,V,B,N,Mfor the 3rd.
You can drag potions and consumable items to the Y,H,N,U,J,M slot.
Where Should I Explore First? | TOP

You will begin your epic journey through the New Continent at the magnificent Cite de Reboldoeux. This town is home to many new immigrants and infamous NPCs like Andre, Claude, Idge, etc, pouring into Granado Espada. It is a very big place and can be daunting to a new player.
But do not fret. After speaking to all the NPCs in Cite de Reboldoeux, you can leave town by moving south, towards The Reboldoeux Queen’s Gate. This will be the gateway to battling your very first monsters.
You can access this zone map by using the Alt-Z shortcut and it will greatly aid you in your journey through Cite de Reboldoeux.
The New Continent of Granado Espada | TOP

Now that you have left Cite de Reboldoeux and geared yourself with the necessary knowledge, it is time to explore the world! There are 4 main towns that you can travel to by foot, which can be very dangerous for a new family, or teleporting using the Leonardo Express. But you will be charged for using this service, so use it sparingly.
New families might want to pit hone their monster slaying abilities at the 1st dungeon, Al Quelt Moreza. You will need to be at least level 10 to handle the monsters there, so train around the outskirts of town, and help the NPCs out with their quests.
Whatever it is, we wish you all the best in the New Continent of Granado Espada! And remember, help is just a click away at the Official GE forums, where your fellow explorers and community managers answer your queries or discuss further tips and tricks.
