Never thought of school bands as ‘cool’ or ‘funky’?

Your impression of school bands would have changed if you attended the Granado Espada Raid party!

Impressing both the audience as well as the media was none other than the multi-award winning Tanjong Katong Secondary School band! Not only did they welcome our Special Guest Hakkyu Kim with a bang, they also entertained us with a special 15-minute repertoire. Moving and grooving to their performance, the 30-piece band got the crowd tapping and cheering along to the music.

Though it was the band members’ first time performing at a club, they are no strangers to the stage as the 5-time champions of the biennial ‘Best Display Band’ Competition have performed at various events such as the New Paper Big Walk and the National Day Parade.
