The Red Affair ended with 106 units of blood collected. There would have been more, unfortunately there were many potential donors who were rejected due to stringent conditions for the blood donation process. We are very proud of you, the GE community, for the sacrifice of your time and your blood to save lives!

Here’s an interview with one of the gamer girls we spotted at the event who came down with her faction, X° faction, to donate blood: 

Hi there! What’s your family name?

Peruvoille: My family name is Peruvoille!

Nice to meet you! Which server are you in?

Peruvoille: Previously, I’m from Caravaggio, which is known as Bach now!

So, how long have you been playing Granado Espada?

Peruvoille: I have been playing Granado Espada since September 2007! Come to think of it, it has been 1 year plus!

What motivates you and your faction to come down for this event?

Peruvoille: We wanted to do our part to save lives; therefore I organized this outing here.



Who started this faction and why is it named X°?

Demiurge: I’m the current faction leader, however the first faction leader who started this faction was DevilsBlood! Most of us are from the same faction previously, since the faction disbanded, we brainstormed and came up with X°, which we find it extraordinary!

The bonds within your faction must be pretty strong, considering that you guys managed to organize such a big group to come down. How does your faction maintain its cohesiveness?

Most of the faction members are adults - we organize weekly outings most of the time! For example, every Friday, we would meet up to go clubbing! On Saturday, we would meet up for a movie and of course on Sunday, it’s our Colony War day! 



In fact, we just organized an overseas trip a month ago! We went to the fishing village in Malaysia, Kukup.



Wow that sounds fun! How many of you went there?

17 of us went! We booked a van in Malaysia to cater for us to get around the place!

Any sneak preview about what other upcoming activities your faction is organizing?  

Peruvoille: We are planning to organize a charity event!

Nice! That is truly meaningful! I notice that all of you are wearing your faction T-shirt. It is really creative - who designed this T-shirt?

Demiurge: It was one of our faction members, Tsumura! We had a competition in our faction forums whereby the winning designer will get the free T-shirt that he designed.

How about the faction members outside Singapore? Will they be able to get the T-shirt?

Demiurge: If they really want to have it, we usually snail mail it over to them. There was this one time when one of our faction members came to Singapore from Philippines. He helped the rest of the faction members from Philippines to buy the t-shirts and brought them back to them!

What inspired you guys to design and print such T-shirts for your faction?

Demiurge: (Laughs) We faction hop quite frequently, but we've been in X° for a pretty long time already. With it being pretty established for around for 6 months, this T-shirt was created as an ‘Anniversary T-shirt’!

Before we end this interview, do any of you have any advice for the new factions out there?

Demiurge: (Laughs) Spend more G-points!

Peruvoille: (Laughing at Demiurge) I would say that, in order to excel, you need to have great passion for Granado Espada! Patience is also very important! And let’s find one more P! (hmmmm…) Persistence!
